Since our inception, EMMAUS Consulting has had the opportunity to hand pick a team of highly experienced professionals that have the capability to develop strong and lasting Client relationships built upon the foundation of technical excellence.

The majority of our people have joined our business having either previously worked with each other over many years or through personal referral.  This has enabled us to build a highly talented team from different backgrounds, containing diverse and different skill sets and which makes for an interesting and highly skilled company. Our team has been strategically formed and shaped, not only for our future success, but to support our clients in theirs.

We assemble teams to meet the needs of our clients and their projects and are able to draw from their diversity in order to provide strong collaboration with both Clients and other companies. Our teams operate from central offices in Birmingham and London and provide the full breath of services from both offices.

At EMMAUS Consulting under Peter Vince’s leadership as Chairman, we have in place a board of Directors in Andrew Dewick (Managing Director), Alan Cole, Graham Grabski and James Newby that in combination have the desire, experience and capability to strategically drive forward the success of our business for the benefit of our people and clients.

Peter formed the company in 2011 and has utilised his skills and experience over his 38 years in consulting to develop the firm. Peter has a track record of high quality delivery in both technical and business management areas of a consulting organisation.

Peter has a considerable wealth of experience in both project and cost management delivering projects across a wide range of sectors, client organisations and differing procurement methods.  In addition to his technical work Peter has operated at senior management level in a global construction design and management consultancy and has been actively engaged in the acquisition, integration and disposal of businesses.

Peter is known for his determination, consistency and motivational leadership style, which he brings in any project that he and his team are engaged upon.

In short, Peter understands how the property and construction industry works and how to deliver quantifiable and measurable results – whatever size your project.

James Newby - Director

James Newby - Director

James became a partner of the firm in October 2012 and strengthens EMMAUS Consulting capability to deliver in the private sector with a particular focus on leisure and industrial clients.

James has nearly 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, 14 of these as a Cost Manager throughout the UK.

James has continually delivered projects on time and on budget, providing invaluable cost advice at all stages of the construction process across a range of new-build, conversion and refurbishment projects and various procurement routes.

James has an in depth knowledge of the commercial market through his experience across a range of projects and procurement processes each varying in value and complexity.

James is committed to delivering his projects successfully. He spends valuable time working with clients to identify and implement systems in order that their capital projects are managed in an efficient manner to suit clients’ individual requirements.

Alan Cole - Director

Alan Cole - Director

Alan is the partner responsible for our Project Management Services and he brings a wealth of experience and expertise which will benefit both our current and future clients together with the project managers who work with him.

With the appointment of Alan as a partner, he brings a further 30 years’ experience in the industry to EMMAUS Consulting. Alan’s extensive project management experience has arisen from the delivery of projects across the whole development cycle from acquisition, through feasibility, design and procurement and onto delivery and occupation.

Alan is a self motivated, agile, results orientated project manager who enjoys challenges and assumes responsibility for performance. His leadership style is compliant yet competitive and challenging, team focused towards delivering value and service quality.

Alan is known for his personal and attentive relationship style with his clients, focused towards understanding and delivering their individual needs and requirements.

Andrew Dewick - Managing Director

Over his 25 year career, Andrew has been recognised for his high level of professionalism, valued advice to clients and wider contribution to the property sector. He provides a personal and proactive approach in our business delivery to all our clients.

Andrew’s extensive knowledge and experience of project and cost management has arisen from a diverse portfolio of projects across all sectors both in the UK and internationally and over a wider range of project values.

Attention to detail and strong negotiation skills has provided Andrew with unrivalled knowledge in all aspects of project delivery both at strategic and project level. Andrew has also worked on major management consultancy pieces for international retailers and Governments and is able to provide strategic advice and reports on a range of capital expenditure projects.

Graham Grabski - Director

Graham Grabski - Director

With over 27 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, having dealt with both private and public sector clients, Graham has extensive experience across new build, refurbishment and fit out projects within the residential, office, leisure and educational sectors to name a few working for  investors, developers and occupiers alike.

Graham’s approach is very client-focused and brings commercial acumen, attention to detail and strong negotiation skills to compliment all aspects of the capital project lifecycle.

Graham is experienced to facilitate strategic planned interventions to benefit client delivery and viability including due diligence, project audit, value management, risk management and team building.

Graham currently uses his expertise to drive and deliver value in the feasibility stages of projects where the cost manager can be at their most influential in making sure the Clients brief, objectives and aspirations are met.
