RAVENSBOURNE

Conversion of an 1800’s house into apartments and houses within the wider estate.

Conversion of a locally listed house in Keston, within the London Borough of Bromley. Drawing on the heritage of the site band its surroundings, the aspiration was to convert the house back to its former residential use, whilst creating luxury accommodation in mature grounds for the retirement market.

The design of the new build elements of the scheme uses traditional forms and materials in a contemporary manner in order to fit seamlessly into the existing site context.

The project involved:

  • Providing over 14,000sqft of accommodation

  • Heavy refurbishment of the existing building including structures, external walls, windows and the roof.

  • Remodelling of the existing building and extension added to it

  • New buildings added to the grounds

  • Luxury standards incorporating period features

  • Landscaping around the new works
